You also want physical Temtem that can make use of Perfect Jab support, like Tuvine, Mouflank, for example. Anaerobic Volarend generally makes a good partner because it can also bring Urushiol synergy. Having allies that can take special hits, especially Wind / Mental ones, are pretty important for Mushook. Myx cannot KO this set with a Energy Manipulation > Psy Surge sequence thanks to this gear. I ran DoubleScreen there because it's basically a weaker Coat, but it helps softening Mental hits. It's pretty good on switch-ins on a enemy that will often try to break through Mushook's ally instead of hitting it if they're running physical Temtem. Tenderness is actually pretty strong, as it cripples physical Temtem like Gyalis or Anaerobic Volarend pretty hard for a ridiculously low Stamina cost. Turbo Choreography is a strong Speed control tool, but it really gets value if used with fast Wind Temtem like Aerobic Volarend or Granpah. Cage is all around good to keep momentum on a good 2v2 matchup, but must be used wisely as it is easy for Mushook to just trap itself into a Wind / Mental special attacker that will revenge kill it. The 4th slot is very flexible, you can use one of many support options Mushook has in its movepool :
Of course getting a Toxic ally allows Mushook to get full value out of Urushiol by spreading powerful 4-turn poisons on the enemy team, allowing it to cripple Temtem that don't really care about Uppercut. It's a stamina-efficient move that deals nice damage to Temtem that are weak to Toxic. I ended up with stats similar to this now.
Thanks for the advice, I just got a Myx for my squad myself. That allow to use an Energy Manipulation/Psy Surge after 2 Crystal spikes. Urushiol also feels like a must-have, even if you don't have many Toxic allies in your team. Edit: Worth noticing, bring Myx STA to 61 (58 TVs) increase the STA recover from 4 to 5 each turn. Perfect Jab is generally a must-have because its a very solid offensive support tool, helping physical attackers break through the enemy team. This particular investment 2HKOs Vulffy using either Uppercut > Uppercut or Perfect Jab > Uppercut. This set uses a minor Attack investment so Mushook can actually pressure Melee-weak Temtem with its Uppercut.
